About News Focus Namibia
News Focus Namibia, a gift to the Namibian Nation to see news by category filtered by AI (Artificial Intelligence), known as a news aggregator, the first of its kind in Namibia by a Namibian bringing anything worthy of attention put together into a single cohesive platform.
As the Artificial Intelligence is still learning, some items may end up where they do not belong, however, this is actively monitored to be remedied as quickly as possible to ensure a smooth experience, simplified and at your fingertips.
News Focus Namibia AI Policy
At News Focus Namibia, we use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance the way news is organized and presented. Our AI systems are designed with transparency, fairness, and respect for original journalism.
How AI is Used by NFN. Categorization: AI automatically groups articles into relevant categories (e.g., politics, business, environment) based on keywords and context. Duplication Removal: When multiple outlets publish the same story, our system applies a first‑come, first‑serve principle. The outlet that publishes first is displayed, ensuring clarity and avoiding repetition. Filtering: AI helps filter and organize headlines for easier navigation, without altering the original content.
What the NFN AI Does Not Do. This AI does not edit, rewrite, or change the news articles.AI does not generate news content; it only organizes what is already published by recognized outlets.AI does not prioritize or bias one outlet over another, except for duplication handling.
Commitment to Integrity. Original journalism remains the property of the publishing outlet. Our platform respects editorial independence and only provides structured access to existing news. Transparency is central: users can always trace each headline back to its source.
